Michael Seneski is one of the co-founders of J&M Management Solutions LLC. Previously, he served at Ford Motor Company for almost 29 years. In his last position as Director of Mobility, he was responsible for the creation of new service-related enterprises globally. Included in this were the creation and incubation of two very successful start-ups in the Fleet Management/Telematics and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation industries. Prior to this position, he was Director of Corporate Strategy at Ford, responsible for coordinating the business direction of the company including its strategic planning process.

From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Seneski was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Ford Motor Credit Company, one of the largest captive financial companies in the world, with receivables of over $130 billion. Seneski was a key component in managing the world-class operations of the Credit company, including best-in-class risk management, operating cost efficiency and funding diversification and competitiveness. He was also responsible for leading Ford Credit’s capital strategy, including its leverage, liquidity, regulatory review, capital stress-testing, and strategic investment efforts. In addition to managing his Global Finance and Accounting teams (and corresponding corporate and regulatory reporting), he also managed a global Treasury organization responsible for about $30 billion per year in public funding. He oversaw numerous innovations in the funding space, including unique liquidity structures in the US and Europe, a convertible ABS-to-unsecured structure in the US, term-funding retail ABS in the US, and ABS and unsecured funding in China.

Prior to his CFO role, Seneski served as Controller, Global and U.S. Marketing and Sales, Ford Motor Company responsible for all Pricing, Net Revenue, Fixed Marketing and Dealer Financial Operations.

Prior to Marketing and Sales, Seneski served as Assistant Treasurer, Ford Motor Company responsible for Corporate Financial Strategy, Risk Management, Treasury Operations, Treasury IT and global oversight for Affiliate treasury functions. He led critical roles in the financial crisis strategy, including debt buy-back, equity and convertible debt offering, and UAW health care outsourcing. He also played key roles in global divestiture efforts.

Seneski joined Ford Motor Company in 1989 and held a number of management positions in the North American and Asia Pacific regions. In addition to the experiences noted above, he has management experience in Product Development, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.

He received a bachelor’s degree in general business administration from Michigan State University in 1987 and a Masters in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley in 1989.

In addition, Mr. Seneski is the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago – Detroit Branch (2017), and Vice-President for the Broad School Alumni Board at Michigan State University.
